Pedro Marques Pereira

Pedro Marques Pereira (b. 1996, Portugal) is a lens-based artist, working with photography and video. With a degree in cinema and a postgraduate degree in visual studies, he has worked in film and audiovisual productions as a camera assistant and electrician. He has also completed an artist residency in Japan. His practice seeks a fixed and moving image as a central tool in the construction of our ideas of place, memory, and perspective. Supported by a sound dimension, his work proposes a sensitive approach to space and the experience that is constructed from it.
